System Support Engineer

Innovative Medical Software Company

Up to £40,000 plus benefits

Peterborough (Hybrid - 1 / 2 days a week in office)


Venture Up are working with an innovative medical software company who have created a revolutionary application which enables medical professionals to communicate safely and securely.


The company are focused on driving better outcomes for clinicians and patients and produce innovative technology that enhances clinical communication, accessing and storing medical information.


They are recruiting for a Support Engineer to deliver 1st and 2nd line support for internal applications, infrastructure, and hardware, as well as support for bespoke software solutions, to both customers and internal staff


You will need to report to the Peterborough office 4 days a month.


You will have:


  • Ability to triage and prioritise incoming tickets, escalating issues to the Senior Engineer or relevant 3rd line subject matter expert when needed.
  • Be able to monitor system performance, capacity, and availability to ensure environments operate efficiently with adequate resources
  • Understanding of administering Active Directory, Sharepoint and group policy management.
  • Install, configure, and support new hardware and software
  • A good knowledge of Microsoft 365 such as Group Policy, AD & Sharepoint
  • A desire to learn and support custom applications.
