We are seeking a dedicated and committed Supportive Education Professional to join our team at a primary school in Nelson. As a Supportive Education Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting the class teacher and leading intervention groups in Phonics and Mathematics within the key stage 2 environment.

The successful candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, be punctual with excellent attendance, and be able to commit to the role and school. They will also be committed to providing high-calibre support to children of all abilities and needs.

Key responsibilities will include working within the whole class environment to support the class teacher, leading intervention groups in Phonics and Mathematics, and contributing to the development of a broad and balanced creative curriculum.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about education and has a commitment to providing the best possible outcomes for children. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, motivated, and able to work collaboratively as part of a team.

In return, we offer a competitive salary, paid between £12.90-£13.50 per hour, inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, but the option to make it permanent may become available at a later date.
