Education Support Specialist

A career opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and committed individual to join our team as an Education Support Specialist.
This is a full-time role working within Key Stage 2 in a one-form entry primary school in the Nelson area. As part of this position, you will be required to support the class teacher in delivering high-quality education to pupils, while also leading intervention groups in Phonics and Mathematics.
The successful candidate will have strong behaviour management skills, be punctual with excellent attendance, and able to commit to the role and school. We offer training and progression opportunities to our staff, ensuring their growth and development.

In return for your dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £13.00 per hour, inclusive of statutory holiday pay. This temporary position may have the option to become permanent at a later date.
We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with DfE statutory guidance 'Keeping Children Safe in Education'. All candidates must undergo a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
