Maintenance Team Leader

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance operations at Find Apprenticeships. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of engineers.
About the Role:
- Lead a team of engineers in maintaining equipment and facilities.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure effective equipment maintenance and repair.
Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime.
- Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Project Support: Assist with automation project installations and factory testing.
- Deliver Projects: Ensure projects are completed to standard, schedule, and budget.
- Travel: Visit supplier sites for meetings, testing, or commissioning support.
- Engineering Support: Provide technical assistance to the engineering team.
- Meetings and Communication: Attend weekly meetings with project teams and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
- Reporting: Prepare weekly job analysis and project update reports.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: Possess experience as a Team Leader or Manager.
- Engineering Background: Hold an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (HNC/ONC).
- Technical Skills: Ability to read technical Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer Literacy: Proficient in computer software and applications.
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
