Maintenance Team Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Team Lead to oversee the maintenance operations at Find Apprenticeships. This role requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team of engineers.

About the Role:

  • Lead a team of engineers in maintaining equipment and facilities.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure effective equipment maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities:

  1. Team Management: Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  2. Maintenance Scheduling: Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure minimal downtime.
  3. Equipment Maintenance: Collaborate with the engineering team to maintain equipment and facilities.
  4. Project Support: Assist with automation project installations and factory testing.
  5. Deliver Projects: Ensure projects are completed to standard, schedule, and budget.
  6. Travel: Visit supplier sites for meetings, testing, or commissioning support.
  7. Engineering Support: Provide technical assistance to the engineering team.
  8. Meetings and Communication: Attend weekly meetings with project teams and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
  9. Reporting: Prepare weekly job analysis and project update reports.

Requirements:

  • Leadership Experience: Possess experience as a Team Leader or Manager.
  • Engineering Background: Hold an Engineering Apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (HNC/ONC).
  • Technical Skills: Ability to read technical Electrical and Mechanical drawings.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Computer Literacy: Proficient in computer software and applications.

Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 per annum depending on experience.
