About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Education Program Director to lead our Technical Trades departments, focusing on Plumbing, Motor Vehicle, and Electrical. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, with a focus on driving excellence in teaching, learning, and assessment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake teaching, learning, and assessment activities, ensuring high-quality provision in response to learners' needs.
  • Promote high standards of teaching, learning, and assessment within the area.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications, including A Level 2 in English and Maths, and a Level 3 qualification in their teaching expertise. They should also possess leadership/management qualifications and experience in delivering and assessing across various curriculum areas.

A strong communicator with innovative problem-solving abilities, the ideal candidate will also have proficiency in learning technologies and software. Mentoring and coaching skills, presentation skills, and the ability to manage challenging behaviour while leading staff are essential.
