Children with Disabilities Program Lead

Compensation: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Children with Disabilities Program Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will support creating and maintaining a respectful classroom culture that fosters safe and productive learning for children with disabilities.
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of relevant experience and a High School Diploma or equivalent. They will work effectively as a team member, maintain confidentiality, and have access to dependable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out duties in compliance with HS Performance Standards, Vermont Child Care Licensing Regulations, and NAEYC.
- Be aware of indicators of child abuse and neglect and comply with Vermont Mandated Reporter Law.
- Foster a safe and inviting environment, support classroom management, and be flexible in supporting infant, toddler, and preschool classrooms.
- Support center staff in identified tasks, before and aftercare, and program activities.
Requirements:
- GED or High School Diploma.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Work effectively as a team member, maintain confidentiality, and have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience working with young children or education in Early Childhood preferred.
Access to dependable transportation is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
