About the Role

The successful candidate will provide strategic leadership to the Qualifications Policy and Reform directorate, responsible for analysing key trends in education and assessment to inform qualification reform approaches and policies that align with Qualifications Wales' strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver project management expertise to manage projects of varying scales, from large complex multi-year projects with significant budgets to small projects with smaller budgets and shorter lifecycles.
  • Apply change management principles to drive stakeholder engagement and achieve organisational goals.
About Qualifications Wales

Qualifications Wales is a Welsh government executive agency responsible for regulating qualifications in Wales. As a member of the executive team, the Executive Director - Qualifications Policy and Reform will play a key role in shaping the future of education and assessment in Wales.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is £80,000 - £110,000.
