We are looking for a Project Director - Steel Framing and Groundworks to lead our data centre project in Newport, Wales. As a senior professional, you will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and handover.

You will be responsible for ensuring the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. You will work closely with various teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless workflow and integration with other project areas.

The estimated salary for this role is £88,000 + benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the entire project lifecycle, from planning and execution to delivery and handover.
  • Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Work closely with various teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure a seamless workflow and integration with other project areas.
  • Coordinate with the Senior Project Manager and other discipline leads to ensure a smooth project delivery.
  • Track project costs, report on budget status, and manage any cost variances.
  • Attend progress and coordination meetings, and provide regular updates on project status.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a senior project management role, ideally within large-scale data centre or industrial construction projects.
  • Strong background in civil, structural, and architectural work, with specific experience in steel framing and groundworks.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction.
