Senior Customer Experience Ambassador

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to join our small team as a Senior Customer Experience Ambassador. In this role, you will lead by example, working with and driving the team to achieve exceptional results. You will be responsible for processing quotes, orders, and enquiries for one of our brand categories, working closely with the Sales Manager and Marketing team to tailor brand promotions and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Lead, inspire, and motivate a small team, ensuring effective communication and timely completion of all tasks.
  • Customer Service: Deliver exceptional customer service by handling incoming calls and email enquiries, providing technical support for a specific brand while retaining as many calls as possible to free up the external sales team.
  • Account Management: Act as the Account Manager to existing customers and convert enquiries into sales orders.
  • Opportunity Identification: Identify larger opportunities for the external sales team.
  • Quote Follow-ups: Conduct outbound calls for quote follow-ups.
  • Brand Ambassador: Develop a deep understanding of brand products to recommend solutions and act as a brand ambassador.
  • Order Processing: Process customer quote requests and orders, manage back-orders, and collaborate with the fulfilment team on scheduling.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records in NetSuite ERP, including database and contact management, raising cases, processing returns, and updating prices when required.
  • Market Insights: Monitor market trends, capture customer data, and use these insights to tailor brand promotions in collaboration with your Sector Sales Manager and the Marketing team.
  • Project Support: Assist with projects as required.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Leadership Potential: High energy and engagement with demonstrated leadership potential.
  • Organisation and Presentation: Well-organised and presentable.
  • Industry Experience: Ideally some experience within construction or retailers within the building industry.
  • Driving Licence: A valid full driving licence is required.
