Corporate Governance Officer

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Corporate Governance Officer to join our team at King Edward VII's Hospital. As a key member of our governance function, you will play a crucial role in supporting the hospital's executive and board-level meetings, ensuring seamless agenda planning, paper quality, and timely distribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Meeting Management: Manage executive and board-level meetings to ensure effective decision-making at the highest level. This includes planning agendas, preparing meeting materials, and coordinating logistics.
- Regulatory Compliance: Conduct regulatory assessments to maintain compliance with legal requirements, upholding the hospital's commitment to governance excellence.
- Reporting and Policy Development: Draft and review reports and policies in alignment with governance standards, ensuring clear and accurate communication.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the Chief Executive's Office and Executive Team, including diary management and other tasks as directed.
- Logistics and Coordination: Organize logistics for meetings, including arranging rooms and hospitality, to ensure a professional and welcoming environment.
Requirements:
- Highly Organized: Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.
