About the Role

Pictet, a leading independent wealth and asset manager, is seeking a highly skilled Business Oversight Manager to join its UK PWM team. As a key member of the Management Team, you will report directly to the Head of Business Oversight for UK PWM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute first-line of defence (1LOD) controls activities, including sample testing, data analytics, and evaluation, to ensure compliance with UK regulatory requirements and firm policy.
  • Act as primary on the scheduling and execution of the 1LOD Consumer Duty framework, including fair value assessments, qualitative and quantitative testing against defined good outcomes, vulnerable clients analysis, and assessments.
  • Manage and develop accessibility to key data/information sources of the London Branch, including tableaus/system extracts and other means.
  • Support the Head of Business Oversight and COO in the preparation of materials for governance meetings and regulatory reporting.
  • Participate in periodic reviews, project management, regulatory implementations, and other activities as directed by the COO and Head of Business Oversight.

Requirements

  • At least 2-3 years prior experience in wealth management, with a strong preference for experience in the UK regulatory environment.
  • Excellent MS skills, particularly in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge of wealth management services and investment products, as well as the wealth management regulatory landscape.
  • Detail-oriented with an investigative mindset, coupled with strong analytical skills and the ability to produce accurate, reconcilable output.
