Job Overview

As a Customer Service Advisor at Barclays Bank UK PLC, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers, providing exceptional support and guidance to ensure their needs are met. Your role will involve collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver personalized experiences, leveraging multiple communication channels to resolve customer queries and issues. You will be expected to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction, adhering to regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences
• Utilize multiple communication channels to resolve customer queries and issues
• Provide personalized support to clients, ensuring their needs are met
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to meet client expectations and execute transactions accurately and on time
• Support business operations functions as needed, including risk management, compliance, and collections
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements and internal policies related to customer care

Requirements and Expectations

• Execute work requirements as identified in processes and procedures
• Provide specialist advice and support pertaining to own work area
• Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to
• Deliver work and areas of responsibility in line with relevant rules, regulations, and codes of conduct
• Maintain and continually build an understanding of how all teams in the area contribute to the objectives of the broader sub-function
