We are seeking a highly skilled Education Consultant to join our team in Brentwood, delivering one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) at Key Stage 3 level.

Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people who require tailored support to access mainstream education. As an Education Consultant, you will work closely with Local Authorities in Essex to provide bespoke tuition sessions in the student's home, care home, or public venue.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, one-to-one tuition to students with SEN needs, focusing on core subjects such as English, Maths, and Science.
  • Creatinng engaging resources and adapting lesson plans to meet the individual learning levels, needs, and interests of each student.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment, free from judgment, where students feel confident in their abilities.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A strong background in teaching at Key Stage 3 level, particularly in core subjects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and their families.
  • Experience working with students with SEN and SEMH needs.
