Schools Need You: Become an SEN Outreach Tutor

New Way Tuition Ltd is a leading provider of educational support services for children with special educational needs (SEN). We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate SEN Outreach Tutor to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our students.

The Role:

  • One-on-One Support: Work with students who require additional academic support due to SEN, SEMH, or risk of permanent exclusion.
  • Mentorship and Guidance: Provide guidance and support to help students build confidence, overcome challenges, and break down barriers to learning.
  • Progress Monitoring: Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to ensure continuous academic and social-emotional growth.

Requirements:

  • QTS (QTLS) or Equivalent: Hold a QTS (QTLS) or equivalent qualification in Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • SEN Experience: Have previous experience working with children and young adults with SEN, including knowledge of various learning disabilities, developmental delays, and behavioural challenges.
  • Desirable Attributes: Possess patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children with SEN.
  • Adaptability: Be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the diverse needs of our students.
