Administrative Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrator to join our operational support team at Wayfair's UK Distribution Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our ecommerce supply chain.
Key Responsibilities- Operational Administration: Provide strong administrative support to our fast-paced ecommerce supply chain operation, ensuring high accuracy levels are maintained while meeting tight deadlines.
- Process Knowledge: Build and maintain operational knowledge, ensuring process documents and guides are updated and shared with the team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional partners to effectively problem-solve and assist in resolutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Assist with cost reduction, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives, highlighting any potential business impacts (positive or negative) and escalating to the appropriate teams.
- General Office Requirements: Assist the team in general office requirements such as order, mail, appointment, and file management.
- Employee Engagement: Help organize and facilitate employee engagement initiatives.
- Proven Track Record: Already have a proven track record operating within an autonomous administration position, preferably in logistics, purchasing, manufacturing, supply chain, or planning environments.
- Time Management: Display excellent time management, prioritization, and organization skills to consistently meet deadlines.
- Communication: Be an effective communicator (both written and verbally), someone who can build cross-functional partnerships and trust with stakeholders.
- Technical Skills: Navigate computer systems and applications effectively, including MS Office and Google.
- Problem-Solving: Demonstrate a resolution mindset, someone who has a methodical approach to problem-solving with an awareness of both the customer and business impact.
- Autonomy and Teamwork: Be self-motivated, able to work effectively both autonomously and in a team.
