About Mash Direct

We are an innovative and established company that supplies fresh produce to the retail and non-retail market across the UK and Ireland. Our friendly and supportive team-oriented department is hiring an experienced Accounts Assistant with strong generalist accounts and purchase ledger experience.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Dealing with incoming supplier emails and telephone calls
  • Matching approved purchase orders to supplier invoices
  • Posting supplier invoices and credit notes to Sage
  • Preparing and processing supplier payments
  • Supplier account reconciliations
  • Liaising with other departments and staff members
  • Assisting in the implementation of our new digitised ordering system
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proficiency in Purchase Ledger
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in accounts in a busy office
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Teams Office 365

In return, we offer a competitive remuneration package of £26,000-£30,500 per year, which includes benefits such as a canteen, casual dress policy, cycle-to-work scheme, discounted or free food, and on-site parking.
