Job Overview
REED Specialist Recruitment is delighted to partner with an established manufacturing company in Newtownards, seeking a highly skilled Full-Time Accounting Professional to join their team as an Accounts Assistant. The successful candidate will work closely with the General Manager and Company Accountant, responsible for managing daily banking, online banking, checking, posting and reconciling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Management of daily banking transactions
  • Online banking, checking, posting and reconciling
  • Management of the ledger at month-end
  • VAT Returns and assisting with making tax digital
  • Month-end reconciliations
  • Listing and maintenance of Pricelist
  • Updating information on company website
  • Invoicing
  • General office administration as and when required


Requirements:
  • Thorough working knowledge and understanding of the accounting function
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills and a responsible attitude
  • Strong IT skills with advanced working knowledge of MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills and the confidence to liaise with staff and suppliers at all levels
  • Experience using Sage 200 or similar


Benefits:
  • $26,000 - $28,000 per annum
