Job Role and Responsibilities
The REED Specialist Recruitment client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to manage daily banking, online banking, checking, posting and reconciling. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent communication skills, and experience with Sage 200 or similar software.

Key Tasks:
  • Manage daily banking transactions and reconcile accounts
  • Process online banking, checking, posting and reconciling
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns and assist with making tax digital
  • Conduct month-end reconciliations and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Update pricing lists and maintain accurate records
  • Administer general office tasks as required


Qualifications and Experience:
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office and experience with Sage 200 or similar software
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
