We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Assistant to join our client's dynamic team in Newtownards. In this temporary role, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, including invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and account maintenance. You will also provide exceptional customer service by responding to queries and resolving issues in a timely manner. Your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment will be crucial to your success in this position.

To be successful in this role, you will need a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar accounts role, previous experience operating an accounting software, and proficiency in Microsoft Office to include Excel. You will also need to possess strong communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial transactions, including invoice processing and payment reconciliation.
  • Respond to customer and supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Perform ad hoc accounts administrative tasks as required.
