Financial Transaction Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join our client's team on a full-time, temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to payroll processing, including documenting guidelines and procedures, and assisting with the processing of monthly payroll.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the development and implementation of online reporting platforms
- Document and maintain accurate records of payroll processes and controls
- Conduct regular reviews of payroll processes to ensure efficiency and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Design and develop online payroll applications to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of payroll processing
Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a variety of payroll processing tasks, including:
- Collating and verifying manual timesheets and information from automated systems
- Authorising and processing payroll payments, including calculations and check
- Preparing and submitting payroll returns to HMRC
- Providing information and support to employees and managers regarding payroll-related matters
- Participating in internal and external audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of payroll data
