Job Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Strategic Human Resources Director to join our team at Golf Ontario. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Uxbridge, ON.

Company Overview

Golf Ontario is a Provincial Sports Organization and the governing body for golf in Ontario. With over 80 years of history and tradition, we serve , members, making us one of the largest golf associations in the world.

Estimated Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000 per yearKey Responsibilities
  1. Human Resources Leadership:
  • Develop and lead innovative programs to attract, retain, and engage a skilled, diverse, and passionate team, including recruitment, talent management, performance management, and training.
  • Implement employment structures, policies, and practices with high governance standards.
  • Ongoing review and training for all stakeholders on employment-related policies and procedures.
Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI):
  • Drive EDI strategy to advance Golf Ontario's vision of Golf For All.
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to build an inclusive environment.
  • Stay current with leading and innovative diversity research, events, and topics.
Team Culture:
  • Develop and lead a Performance-Based Team Culture and brilliant work environment.
  • Lead Golf Ontario's social committee and schedule leadership and team meetings.
Human Resources Administration:
  • Administer programs and policy attestations, such as Safe Sport.
  • Chair the Joint Health and Safety Committee and Discipline and Complaints Committee.
  • Develop and lead administration for vacation, lieu time, and absence management.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Minimum 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources.
  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously with high integrity.
  • CHRP/CHRL designation.
