Senior Children's Residential Support Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Ely, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our residential support team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead by example and support the management team to run the shift
  • Mentor and support newer staff members
  • Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives
  • Maintain a safe and homely environment
  • Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
Requirements:
  • Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with Young People
  • Level 3 qualification for Children and Young People
  • Experience within another healthcare or social care setting
  • Full UK manual driver's licence
  • Over 21 years old
