We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Ely, Cambridgeshire. As a key member of our residential support team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
Key Responsibilities:- Lead by example and support the management team to run the shift
- Mentor and support newer staff members
- Encourage young people to participate in activities and take responsibility for their own lives
- Maintain a safe and homely environment
- Protect children and young people from risks to their health and welfare
- Experience as a Children's Residential Support Worker or with Young People
- Level 3 qualification for Children and Young People
- Experience within another healthcare or social care setting
- Full UK manual driver's licence
- Over 21 years old
- Opportunity to complete NVQ qualifications - fully funded
