Senior Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Manager to lead our flagship scheme in Littleport, Cambridgeshire. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in traditional build housing schemes and high-volume construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of site staff, including an Assistant Site Manager or Trainee, to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Chair sub-subcontractor meetings to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure the development is completed in accordance with specification and the build programme.
  • Monitor and control the quality of production, including snagging of sub-contractor work and ensuring compliance with H&S regulations.
  • Provide accurate and regular reports on progress and dates.
  • Manage additional costs for non-productive costs and prelim expenditure.
  • Drive quality at every stage of the construction process.
  • Ensure the development passes internal and external inspection processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on traditional build schemes.
  • Ability to manage a fast-paced, busy site.
  • Capacity to train and manage staff who report to you.
  • New build, residential experience.
  • CSCS, Black card.
  • First Aid and Scaffold awareness.
