Job Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced GP to lead the clinical governance portfolio supporting the community and primary care division. The successful candidate will work in close collaboration with the senior leadership team on several service developments, including integrated Health & Social Care teams, community hospitals, Primary Care networks, resilience and specialist pathways in the community.

The post holder will also design and strengthen clinical governance systems and high-quality medical practice.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience as a GP with excellent clinical governance skills
  • Strong understanding of local services development
  • Ability to influence and develop relationships with local GPs
  • Full, current driving licence

This role requires working up to an additional 30 minutes per week for a temporary period for which you would be paid until the service you are working in changes rosters or working patterns to accommodate the new reduced working week.
