We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Theatre Leader to join our team at London Bridge Hospital.

As an Operating Theatre Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of anaesthetic practitioners in the operating theatres, working closely with scrub and recovery colleagues. You will have a strong knowledge and experience in operating theatres, with an excellent understanding of the perioperative needs of patients, and a wide knowledge of peri-operative nursing practices and procedures.

You must be organised, have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with experience of supervising a multi-disciplinary team providing the highest standard of patient care across a varied caseload.

Key Responsibilities
  • To lead and manage the theatre team, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • To ensure that all theatre staff adhere to hospital policies and procedures, and maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised theatre environment.
  • To communicate effectively with other departments, including wards, radiology, and pathology, to ensure smooth patient flow and minimal delays.
  • To participate in the recruitment, selection, and induction of new theatre staff.
  • To provide training and development opportunities for theatre staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, plus shift allowance and benefits package.
