Service Care Solutions Ltd seeks a highly skilled and experienced School Nurse to join our team, providing expert care to children and young people in Shropshire NHS schools.
Job Overview:The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services, including health assessments, health promotion, and child protection.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough health assessments for students, identifying potential health risks and developing interventions to mitigate them.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement health promotion strategies, improving student health outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with child protection policies and procedures, prioritizing student safety and wellbeing.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, adhering to organizational and legal standards.
- NMC Registration: Active NMC registration with a valid PIN.
- Specialist Qualifications: Must hold a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (School Nursing) qualification.
- Nurse Prescriber: Either currently qualified or willing to undertake relevant training within 12 months.
The ideal candidate will have significant post-registration experience, possessing expertise in child protection and safeguarding. They will also have proven ability to work effectively with children and young people in both individual and group settings.
The salary for this role is £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
