Job DescriptionThis critical care specialist position involves delivering high-quality care to premature and critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Unit. Working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, nurses will utilize their specialized knowledge to deliver tailored care, support families, and ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide holistic family-centered care to vulnerable newborns.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans, assessing patient needs and monitoring progress.
- Administer medications, treatments, and life-support care according to neonatal protocols.
- Offer emotional support and guidance to parents, promoting effective family engagement and education.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration.
- Passion for neonatal care and commitment to providing exceptional nursing services.
- Minimum 6 months experience in a clinical setting.
- Compliance with framework requirements, including DBS checks, occupational health clearance, and updated CV.
- Right to work in the UK, with proof required.
