**About the Role:**
As a Mental Health Nurse Specialist, you will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including hospitals and clinics. You will be responsible for assessing patients' mental health needs, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Assess and identify patients' mental health needs
* Develop and implement individualized care plans
* Provide direct patient care, including medication administration and wound management
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
**Required Skills and Qualifications:**
* Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 6 months of experience in mental health nursing
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
