Child Protection Senior Practitioner

Sanctuary Personnel Ltd, a leading recruitment agency, is seeking an experienced Senior Practitioner to join their Child Protection & Assessment team (CPAT) in Redbridge. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of up to £55,427 per annum.
Key Responsibilities- Manage complex caseloads involving individuals, children, carers, and families requiring support and guidance.
- Demonstrate confident judgement in risk assessment and decision-making, ensuring engagement with fluctuating circumstances and capacities.
- Employ professional judgement to promote independence, provide support and protection, and ensure safety while balancing rights and risks.
- Lead positive interventions preventing deterioration in health and wellbeing while safeguarding individuals at risk of abuse or neglect.
- Undertake assessments and planning for safeguarding in complex cases, supporting colleagues with safeguarding skills and current policies.
- Play a key role in practice development, promoting a learning culture, and mentoring less experienced staff.
- Deliver formal professional supervision, providing guidance and advice on casework to less experienced qualified staff.
- Support students and newly qualified social workers as a practice educator and ASYE assessor and supervisor.
