Technical Support Role Overview

The EMEA Technical Support team at ION provides top-notch assistance to equities and derivatives customers, forming part of the global support team. Their key responsibility is to offer technical investigation, keep customers informed, and report potential software defects to the Development teams.

Main duties include:

  • Investigating incidents assigned by the Service Desk
  • Gaining a deep understanding of the supported software, including database structure and configuration files for issue resolution

Requirements:

  • An IT, numerate or business-related degree or equivalent experience
  • A strong foundation in and desire to develop technical skills in areas like database technologies and system performance
  • Technical analysts must be dynamic, resilient, and objective, delivering quick and accurate solutions to customer-raised incidents
  • A passion for developing a comprehensive understanding of financial markets and system functionality
  • Familiarity with networks and network infrastructure is beneficial
