**Job Summary**

The Core Realty Holdings Management seeks a highly skilled and experienced Education Programme Manager to lead our Core Subject team. As a key member of the Education Senior Leadership Team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching provision and achieving excellent learner outcomes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Teach a range of Maths and/or English qualifications to a high standard, achieving good or outstanding Ofsted ratings.
  • Develop and manage the Core curriculum in line with national requirements, local community needs, and employment needs.
  • Prepare and monitor syllabuses, schemes of work, lesson plans, assignments, assessment plans, and learning outcomes in accordance with Trust and awarding body requirements.
  • Ensure learners are appropriately placed on courses, including the use of initial diagnostic assessment and agreements for additional learning support.
  • Monitor support and entitlement programmes for learners, including induction, tutorial support, enrichment, and additional learning support, to meet individual learner needs.
  • Provide clear, active, and purposeful Individual Learning Plans (ILP) and academic tutoring, with feedback based on target setting principles, to ensure learner outcomes are achieved.

**Requirements**

  • Qualified to deliver Maths and/or English qualifications from Entry Level to Level 3.
  • Possession of a relevant teaching or training qualification (e.g. QTS, QTLS, DTTLS, PGCE).
  • In possession of or currently working towards an NPQ or equivalent management qualification.
  • Experience of teaching on and assessing accredited English and/or Maths programmes from Entry Level to Level 3.
  • Evidence of ability to assess effectively and prepare relevant materials.
  • Experience of working as a member of a team and ability to work effectively with colleagues.
  • Successful track record of developing, leading, and managing a team effectively.
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering learning to a good or outstanding Ofsted level.
  • Experience of managing a team and performance management procedures.

**Skills and Attributes**

  • Understanding of and commitment to equal opportunities policies and practical ideas for implementation.
  • Understanding of and commitment to the welfare and safety of children, young people, and vulnerable adults within a Further Education context.
  • Excellent administration skills.
  • Excellent IT skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office software and previous experience of working with databases.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate concisely and effectively.
  • Demonstrable experience of providing excellent customer service skills.
  • Understanding of data protection and information security.
