Key Details:

  • Estimated Salary: £55,000 - £65,000 per annum
  • Full or Part Time Hours
  • Hybrid Working - 2 days minimum on campus
  • ASAP Start

The ideal candidate will have experience managing Primary or Secondary PGCE Programmes, with in-depth knowledge of the new and current DfE regulations. They will also possess an up-to-date understanding of the Initial Teacher Education sector.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the heads of primary and secondary PGCE programmes to ensure the ITE quality criteria are maintained.
  • Liaise with tutors to maintain an overview of the curriculum being delivered across Primary and Secondary programmes.
  • Support the Head of Department in ensuring that targets are met for student recruitment, retention experience, and satisfaction across all PGCE programmes.
  • Work with the partnership leads to ensure that mentoring processes, including mentor training, are in place and tracking systems used.
  • Ensure that systems and processes designed to support student progression are implemented correctly.
