Academic Support Staff Member for SEN Students

As a Full-SEN Teaching Assistant at our school in Bamber Bridge, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting individual students or small groups to access the curriculum in a way that meets their needs.
- Assisting in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies.
- Promoting social interaction, confidence, and independence in a caring and nurturing environment.
- Working closely with the class teacher to create an inclusive and engaging learning atmosphere.
- Helping to develop resources and deliver tailored interventions to support learning.
The role also requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will work closely with students, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance for children with various special educational needs. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children is essential.
A competitive salary of £20,000 - £22,500 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, is offered, along with ongoing professional development and training opportunities.
