Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Primary SEN Educator to join our team at TipTopJob. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in primary education, with a focus on Special Educational Needs (SEN). This is a full-time position for a split Year 4/5 class, with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of children with SEN.
  • Work closely with support staff to ensure each child has access to the learning tools they need.
  • Develop creative strategies to support students' academic, social, and emotional development.
Requirements
  • Previous experience teaching children with SEN, including autism spectrum disorders or other complex needs.
  • A valid teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent) with a proven track record in primary education.
  • Two professional references verifying recent teaching experience with SEN pupils.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
