Sales Director

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated leader to head our sales activities in the UK.
- Develop and deliver the company's sales strategy to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
- Maintain and grow Polestar's representation with major leasing companies, rental partners, Motability operations, and large corporate end-user customers.
- Lead the development of the Non-Genuine Agency (NGA) model to increase retail partners' accountability for sales performance and overall volume.
- Manage the fleet sales team to grow sales to existing accounts, develop new end-user accounts, and optimize daily activities to boost sales.
- Oversee and develop Polestar's Pre-Owned programme with retail partners and remarketing strategy and disposal channels to improve residual value positioning.
- Cultivate day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring commercial and customer relationship KPIs and targets are met.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a sales role, preferably with a bachelor's degree in business.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience at an automotive OEM or retail level.
- Experience with NGA and direct selling business models, as well as transitioning from a wholesale to a non-genuine agency direct selling model.
- Extensive contacts within the fleet and business sales environment at lease company, major daily rental, Motability operations, and large corporate end-user levels.
- Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, exceptional interpersonal abilities, and excellent verbal and written communication skills, including oratory capabilities.
