Job Purpose
We are seeking qualified social workers to work within our Young People\u2019s service, with different ranges of experience to ensure that our young people receive a consistent service. We are seeking practitioners with an understanding of the challenges faced by being a Child Looked After and how to overcome these barriers.
Key Responsibilities
- Support young people aged 16-18 who are in children looked after to grow and flourish into adulthood.
- Develop clear and effective care plans tailored to our young people\u2019s needs.
- Work with multi-agency partners to ensure risk is well managed and safety is a key priority for our most vulnerable children.
- Engage in direct work to evidence and understand the voices of our young people.
Why Work with Us
Our teams are small, comprising 3 personal advisors and 2 social workers per team. We also have support from senior personal advisors and senior practitioners within the service to help support practice and any complex casework.
Our caseloads are manageable, meaning that you will get regular support and supervision. We also benefit from having an in-house systemic team who are there for support and consultation.
