About the Role

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable social worker to join our team in Croydon Adult Services. As a Newly Qualified Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, empowering and supporting individuals who need signposting, community support, or direct help from the Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality social care services
  • Develop and implement strength-based practice approaches to support individuals and communities
  • Contribute to the development of our services, sharing ideas and best practices to improve outcomes
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualification in social work, completed within the last 2 years
  • Ability to work flexibly in response to a rapidly changing public service environment
  • Commitment to team working and enthusiasm for contributing to sharing ideas that support the development of all our services
  • Professionalism, creativity, and drive in your approach to person-centred practice and problem-solving
