About the Role

We are seeking a committed and knowledgeable social worker to join our team in Croydon Adult Services. As a Newly Qualified Social Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, empowering and supporting individuals who need signposting, community support, or direct help from the Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to deliver high-quality social care services
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with service users, their families, and carers
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strength-based practice and locality working
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Qualified in the last 2 years as a social worker
  • Not completed an Assessed and Supported Year in Employment previously
  • A commitment to strength-based practice and locality working
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
