Job Opportunity
The Commonwealth of Virginia invites applications for a 9-month tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Psychology at Norfolk State University. Qualifications
- Earned doctorate (PSY.D or Ph.D.) in Clinical, Social, Cognitive, Human Factors Psychology or a related discipline
- Evidence of potential for strong teaching
- Evidence of potential for excellence in research
Preferred Qualifications
- Commitment to developing a research lab aligned with candidate interests and expertise
- Experience with online teaching using the Blackboard learning management system
- Record of or potential for obtaining external grant support
