About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a CAMHS Consultant Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality clinical care to young people with complex mental health needs
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
  • Contribute to the leadership and development of the CAMHS service
  • Participate in clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
  • MRCPsych or equivalent
  • CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent
  • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
