We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Acute Inpatient Team in Sussex. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our acute care pathway and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in leadership and service development initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in child and adolescent psychiatry, with experience in working with complex cases. You will be a proactive and supportive team player, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex needs
- Contribute to the development of our acute care pathway
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care
- Participate in leadership and service development initiatives
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCPsych or equivalent
- CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent
- Excellent knowledge and skills in child and adolescent psychiatry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
