We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Acute Inpatient Team in Sussex. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex needs.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of our acute care pathway and work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care. You will also have the opportunity to participate in leadership and service development initiatives.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in CAMHS and experience working with young people with complex needs. You will be a proactive and collaborative team player with excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex needs
- Contribute to the development of our acute care pathway
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality care
- Participate in leadership and service development initiatives
- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification
- MRCPsych or equivalent
- CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent
- Qualification or higher degree in medical education, clinical research, or management
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment
- Included on the GMC Specialist Register OR within six months
