We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Child and Adolescent Mental Health Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Acute Inpatient Team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex needs, working closely with colleagues to deliver a safe, effective, and caring service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and expertise in the assessment and management of young people with complex mental health needs.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service-wide initiatives to improve patient outcomes and experience.
- Participate in the CAMHS Psychiatry on-call rota and provide out-of-hours support as required.
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.MRCPsych or equivalent.CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent.Excellent clinical skills, using a bio-psycho-social perspective and wide medical knowledge.Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.Able to manage clinical complexity and uncertainty.Makes decisions based on evidence and experience, including the contribution of others.Able to meet duties under the Mental Health Act and Mental Capacity Act.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
