We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) team at Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will provide comprehensive assessments and interventions for young people with complex needs within our 16-bed inpatient unit.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to young people with complex mental health needs.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical pathways and guidelines to improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in the CAMHS on-call rota and provide emergency assessments and interventions as required.
- Work closely with other healthcare professionals, including occupational therapists, nurses, psychologists, and social workers, to provide a comprehensive and coordinated approach to care.
- Contribute to the leadership team and help to develop and implement service improvements.
We are looking for a Consultant Psychiatrist with:
MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.MRCPsych or equivalent.CCT in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent.Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in child and adolescent psychiatry.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.Leadership and management skills.What We OfferWe offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional development and growth.
