Hospitality Supervisor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site-specific hospitality services, driving hospitality performance, and controlling costs. They will also be expected to facilitate a high-support, high-challenge performance management culture that motivates an engaged workforce.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a large-scale events environment, operational knowledge, and skills in managing multi-service operations. They will also possess excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees at all levels, and demonstrate resilience when faced with conflicting business challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage site-specific hospitality services at all four locations in accordance with the contract and weekly events.
  • Drive hospitality performance through management and monitoring of KPI's, labour, and costs.
  • Ensure that costs are controlled and charged with free issues in line with budget.
  • Control costs through ensuring weekly stock take is managed and liaise as appropriate with all departments.
  • Seek new ways to control costs and drive service standards across the hospitality department.
  • Ensure the unit complies with all company and client policies, site rules, and statutory regulations.
  • Facilitate a high-support, high-challenge performance management culture that motivates an engaged workforce.


Requirements

  • Experience in a large-scale events environment.
  • Operational knowledge, skills, and experience in managing multi-service operations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees at all levels.
  • Demonstrate resilience when faced with conflicting business challenges.
  • Ability to interpret and utilise varied financial and commercial information.
  • Achieve set standards and operate to performance criteria, for example, health and safety, hygiene.
