We are pleased to present a remarkable opportunity for a seasoned Orthopaedic Surgical Team Supervisor to become a vital part of our Operating Room Department on a full-time, permanent basis at Spire Healthcare Ltd.

We collaborate with some of the most skilled Consultant Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and Physicians to provide customized, patient-centered care. Key Responsibilities

Primary Duties

Oversee a team of proficient staff to ensure effective care for patients requiring surgical intervention. Assist the Operating Room Manager by providing regular updates and reports regarding your team and specialty. Analyze operational challenges within staff and theatre management, proposing practical solutions. Offer specialized guidance and expertise to the team and medical consultants. Collaborate with consultants to plan and address specific requirements for surgical lists. Work alongside key departments to ensure that specialized equipment is maintained in optimal condition.

Candidate Profile

Qualifications

Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner (HCPC or NMC registration required) Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopaedic surgical procedures Proven ability to work effectively in teams with minimal supervision Previous leadership experience is advantageous A passion for the field and the ability to demonstrate innovative thinking Completion of SFA training is a plus Supervisory experience is essential
