About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Hospitality Supervisor to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our catering services and ensuring that our high standards are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site-specific hospitality services at all four locations, ensuring that our contract and weekly events are executed to perfection.
- Drive hospitality performance through the management and monitoring of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), labor, and costs.
- Ensure that costs are controlled and charged with free issues in line with budget, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Control costs through the management of weekly stock takes and liaison with all departments as necessary.
- Seek new ways to control costs and drive service standards across the hospitality department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.
- Ensure that the unit complies with all company and client policies, site rules, and statutory regulations, including licensing laws, Trading Standards, and Environmental Health and Safety (EHO) regulations.
- Facilitate a high-support, high-challenge performance management culture that motivates an engaged workforce.
- Experience in a large-scale events environment is essential, as is operational knowledge, skills, and experience in managing multi-service operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers, clients, and employees at all levels are required.
- Demonstrate resilience when faced with conflicting business challenges and have the ability to interpret and utilize varied financial and commercial information.
- Achieve set standards and operate to performance criteria, such as health and safety, hygiene, and customer satisfaction.
