About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive administrative support to our Cancer Services senior management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing secretarial support, including clerical and information technology support, to the management team.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide secretarial support to the Cancer Services management team, including making appointments, assembling documents, and inviting personnel to attend meetings.
  • Administer electronic outlook diaries, making appointments and preparing documents for meetings.
  • Utilize excellent communication skills to handle confidential and sensitive information, and redirect to the appropriate deputising manager using good judgment.
  • Plan and manage own time effectively, working unsupervised on a daily basis.
  • Process orders and invoices as required.
  • Attend senior meetings, taking and distributing minutes as required, and co-ordinating agendas and inviting personnel for discussion/presentation of projects.
  • Develop and maintain effective communications at all levels throughout the service, Trust, and with external trusts/agencies.
  • Deal with general enquiries from members of staff, external bodies, and members of the general public in a polite, professional manner, and take messages as appropriate.
  • Act as a host to visitors in the collaborative when required.
  • Undertake any other relevant administrative tasks required for the effective running of the service.
