Job Description

As a Household Caregiver with KYN, you will be responsible for delivering high standards of care to individuals in our designated household. This includes:

  • Supporting the Nurse and Household Care Lead in upholding the highest standards of care, dignity, respect, and wellbeing for all residents
  • Understanding and implementing personalised care plans for each resident, encompassing personal care, washing, dressing, and continence needs
  • Undertaking minor medical duties, such as oral care, skin care, catheter care, and end-of-life care, while maintaining the utmost respect for each resident's autonomy
  • Ensuring a nurturing environment where residents and their families feel valued, loved, happy, safe, and secure
  • Representing KYN values as a brand ambassador, demonstrating leadership and embodying our core principles
About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • A patient and compassionate nature, with excellent interpersonal skills for dealing with challenging situations
  • Effective teamwork and communication skills, building strong relationships with colleagues and fostering a sense of belonging
  • Excellent attention to detail, anticipating potential problems and taking proactive steps to mitigate them
  • The ability to resolve complaints, investigate incidents, and manage them efficiently and effectively
  • A kind, caring, and empathetic approach, prioritising the wellbeing and dignity of every resident
