Support Worker for Neurodiverse Individual

UKCIL Ltd seeks a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to support a young woman with autism spectrum disorder, hypermobility spectrum disorders, dyslexia, severe anxiety, depression, and selective mutism. This role is ideal for an individual with a Mental Health Occupational Therapist qualification or trainee experience.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with daily activities, managing nutritional needs, personal hygiene, and maintaining a home environment. Flexibility is crucial due to changing medical needs.

- Domestic Care
- Social and Leisure activities
- Support to remain independent
In order to succeed in this role, the ideal candidate should have a flexible schedule, own a car with a clean driving license, and possess a Mental Health Occupational Therapist qualification or trainee experience. Basic knowledge of British Sign Language (BSL) is also essential.
We require our candidates to undergo training in safeguarding adults/children, autism/aspergers, and other relevant areas. Additionally, a satisfactory enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check is mandatory. Annual training in GDPR, Health and Safety, First Aid, Risk Assessment, Autism, Food Hygiene, and Medication management is also required.
